Confirmation is “the full outpouring of the Holy Spirit as once granted to the apostles on the day of Pentecost; it increases the gifts of the Holy Spirit in us” (CCC 1302). Confirmation continues what was begun in Baptism by empowering and commissioning us to carry out in the name of the Church the mission of Christ.
We have two Confirmation sessions available.
Fall Session

Components of the Fall Confirmation preparation session are as follows:
· Continue faith formation through one or more of the programs in the city and regular Mass participation.
· Attend an intense retreat designed to cover all of the necessary preparation for Confirmation. To be held the weekend of December 16th-17th.
· Schedule an interview with your parish representative to take place before the retreat.
· Write a letter to the bishop—process will begin on retreat.
· Choose and maintain a relationship with a confirmed Catholic role model of Christian living.
· Attend Confirmation practice.
· Participate in the sacrament of Confirmation Sunday, January 7th at 6:00pm at St. Raphael Parish

Components of the Spring Confirmation preparation session are as follows:
· Continue faith formation through one or more of the programs in the city and regular Mass participation.
· Attend a weekend retreat at your convenience. Multiple dates and options available.
· Participate in three Sunday night preparation meetings. (Dates and times to be determined).
· Schedule an interview with your parish representative to take place before the sacrament.
· Choose and maintain a relationship with a confirmed Catholic role model of Christian living.
· Write a letter to the bishop-process will begin during one of the Sunday night meetings.
· Attend Confirmation practice.
· Participate in the sacrament of Confirmation Saturday, May 20 at 6:00 PM at St. Raphael Parish.

Registration cost is $50.
Because of the limited space available at the retreat center, this session will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
